re-design towns and cities

Concentrate the population in medium-rise community developments. Build on brownfield land and re-generate inefficient areas of cities. Restrict urban sprawl and increase the population density. Make a clear distinction where the city stops and countryside begins.

The ghettoization of cities should also be reversed by repopulating closed groups to a more even spread throughout the city. Move people off affordable housing and into state housing. Mix this state housing in with other developments to integrate various sectors of society into one strong community.

Dig up roads and motorways and replace them with rail tracks. Base the transport infrastructure on a combination of tramways, light railways and high-speed electric railways.
Alongside that merge pavements and cycle paths in wide swathes of road which give ample space to their users.

Build vertical farms. Distribute the food using the rail system described above.
