As an organisation whose work is based on a foundation of robust scientific research the charity has to look at each application on its own merits. If they are sited in the right place - as the overwhelming majority of them are - then wind farms are an important weapon in the fight to halt climate change which if left unchecked will result in the extinctions of many species of birds and other wildlife.
