The 3 economic systems.

I jotted down this line in my Politick book some time ago and I’m publishing it now:

There are 3 economic systems: Communism, Capitalism and Stealing. Capitalism is a bit like Stealing but you don’t go to jail, and everyone hates Communism because Russia lost the Cold War.

It’s an adapted Reggie Perrin quote, it also gives me a chance to see what quotes are supposed to look like with this layout.

    Well, as you can see the quotes dont really stand as quotes. I like the quotes in the layout that you had in the previous blog.
    I think a grey background to the quotes would be good. (you probably need to mess with the css…)

    And, you still haven’t left a link from your old blog to your new blog. So you will loose readers that way. There is a timeframe for this. If as a reader I go to your blog and see no new updates, and no new link onwards, then I probably wont come back.
    I guess the old blog never had thousands of reader, but there were probably some people that read every couple of weeks.

    I like the link to the media studies blog on the side. that’s very good.

    Whats the real quote? Also right now I am actually wondering why there arn’t more communists in the world, there sure are plenty of poor people, maybe in LEDs?

    I know there was more to it but I’ve forgotten the rest. There aren’t more communists in Africa because the anti-imperialist revolutions of the 1960s were not also anti-capitalist by nature so as they rejected traditional imperialism they accepted the manipulative loans from the IMF and the World Bank which hold their economies to ransom while suppressing the populace. The old revolutionary governments of Africa have become the new tyrants of today.
    That’s Peter Dwyer’s theory anyway.
